-Act as project leader for international development projects and responsible for time schedule, product costs and features and project costs of International development projects. -Responsible for technical ownership of a specified product portfolio. -Prepare technical product specifications to meet the marketing requirements -Supervise and review the detailed product design with company's strategic partners (ODM partners) -Work closely with manufacturing engineering resources during product design phase to ensure product costs are optimized through from end-to-end -Adhere to company procedures and guidelines for product development and prepare relevant design documentation -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of appropriate safety, technical standards, norms, latest technology, development productivity tools, EMC theory and manufacturing techniques -Provide technical support for assigned products after releasing to the market
Requirements:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
-University graduate in Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines -At least 5 years' professional experience in R&D, preferably in the field of product business and HVAC industry with 3 years of project management experience -At least 3 years of supervisory experience and project management experience -Engineering background in hardware, software or mechanical design, HVAC controls and application knowledge is highly preferred -Excellent communication skills to collaborate with international teams and liaising with different levels of people -Strong strategic orientation, self-initiative and result-driven -Willing to travel overseas -Fluent of English & Mandarin. Korean is definitely an advantage -Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Product Development Manager
